Kevin and Tammy Omar, owners of Five Star Plumbing and HeatingSM, started out in business serving the Rhode Island community otherwise known as K&T Plumbing and Heating, Inc. back in 1993. Over the years K&T Plumbing and Heating, Inc. has been dedicated to offering the people of Rhode Island quality plumbing and heating products and services.
Owners Kevin and Tammy were recently looking into the future one day and came across an outside consulting company that could help them meet goals for the future growth of the company. Five Star Plumbing and HeatingSM wants to bring Rhode Island top notch, valuable plumbing and heating services.
So, with that in mind, we thought we would choose a name that more adequately reflected our exemplary level of dedication to you, our customer. Five Star Plumbing and HeatingSM just made sense.
Five Star Plumbing and Heating Named a Green Screened Contractor
Johnston, RI August 21, 2008-Five Star Plumbing and Heating recently was granted the prestigious Green Screened contractor mark. The Green Screened mark is bestowed upon contractors who embrace the challenge of protecting the environment by:
- Educating people about the environmental and savings benefits of having a "green" plumbing system
- Offering homeowners products and services that can improve the energy and water efficiency, as well as the water cleanliness, of their home
- Taking an active roll in preserving the environment through recycling, reusing, and conserving products and supplies both in the office and field
The future of this planet is placed squarely upon the shoulders of society. We're going to take on the role as leaders in making sure Mother Nature is healthy for our children and their children.
It's one thing for people to recycle bottles, aluminum cans, and newspapers. It all helps, but to make a real difference people need to make improvements to their homes. Plumbing fixtures, toilets, and water heaters that are 10-15 years of age are outdated! They're wasting water and energy at an incredible pace.
